{"id":87206,"date":"2005-01-15T01:11:00","date_gmt":"2005-01-15T01:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a2066693-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2005-01-15T01:11:00","modified_gmt":"2005-01-15T01:11:00","slug":"a20666a9-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a20666a9-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Pepsi King of the Lanes known today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mark \u201cThe Shark\u201d Halstead tries to live up to high expectations demanded from this year\u2019s runaway winner of the Saipan Bowling Association\u2019s Bowling Ranking System when he tangles today with 23 other keglers for the season-ending 2004 Pepsi King of the Lanes Tenpin Bowling Tournament at the Saipan Bowling Center.<\/p>\n<p>This morning\u2019s competition begins with registration at 9:45am with the nine-game roll-off set to commence 15 minutes later at 10am.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the roll-off, the Top 6 bowlers advance to the stepladder second phase, where the Top 2 bowlers after the roll-off get a bye, the third-ranked bowler challenges the sixth-ranked bowler in Game 1, and No. 4 challenges No. 5 in Game 2.<\/p>\n<p>In the semifinals, the Game 1 winner will play the bowler that topped the roll-off and the Game 2 winner will go up against the second-ranked bowler.
