When the news came out in your newspaper, we, the students from Saipan saw a new ray of hope, especially for those who want to pursue their studies without leaving home. Then with the stroke of pen, our hopes disappeared. While he sounded like an angel of doom in most issues we’ve read, he is one person who enlightens and therefore, deserving of our respect.

I wish Dr. Camacho will settle down in Saipan so he could share his talents with students by accepting a teaching job at NMC or put up his own school. He is a source of vast ideas that if not shared will just be put to waste. If he really loves the CNMI and is concerned about its welfare, please come back and nurture our thirst for knowledge.

Lyna Vizconde
San Diego, California

I would like to thank Dr. Camacho for the enlightenment provided in his three-part comments regarding the proposed medical school.

[4

post-87297","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news
["GET
