Meijia, a staff member at Philpan Intenational Corporation, which operates Executive Homes Apartment.<\/p>\n<p>According to the information submitted by chief prosecutor David Hutton, Meijia purposely obtained a total of $16,583.03 in payments for apartment rental fees due to Philpan owner Ma. Luz Ahat Dolotina.<\/p>\n<p>Meijia committed the alleged theft by deception from July to November 2004, collecting monthly rental payments that range between $210 and $675.<\/p>\n<p>Theft of any property with a value less than $250 is punishable by imprisonment for a maximum of one year.<\/p>\n<p>A person convicted of theft involving a property with a value between $250 and $20,000 may be punished by imprisonment for not more than five years.
