{"id":89631,"date":"2005-04-14T06:19:00","date_gmt":"2005-04-14T06:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a32ec75b-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2005-04-14T06:19:00","modified_gmt":"2005-04-14T06:19:00","slug":"a32ec76f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a32ec76f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Voters removed from NMI roster get new chance to be reinstated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Voters in the Northern Mariana Islands whose names were recently removed from the roster of eligible voters due to their being also registered to vote in Chuuk may now have the chance of getting their names back on the CNMI list of eligible voters.<\/p>\n<p>The CNMI Election Commission has already made arrangements with the Election Commission of the Chuuk State of the Federated State of Micronesia on the process of how to have these individuals\u2019 names removed from the rosters in Chuuk to allow them to retain their eligibility to vote in Commonwealth elections, according to CNMI Election Commission executive director Greg Sablan.<\/p>\n<p>In a notice issued yesterday, Sablan said that all individuals whose names were removed from the roster of eligible voters for reasons that they were also registered to vote in elections in Chuuk must get in touch with him or with Tom Schweiger, staff attorney for the Micronesian Legal Services Corp.
