Reyes said the agency has received two proposals for the life insurance program, but instead of closing the RFP on April 29, it moved the deadline to May 9.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything is put on hold because some of the information that these proposers need have yet to be gathered,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said this information includes the exact number of employees in each agency.<\/p>\n<p>As for the health group insurance, the Fund has yet to receive complete data submission from its lone proposer, Select Care.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re working with one proposer. We\u2019re still waiting for them to answer the additional questions we asked them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said Select Care is given until next week to finish its report.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, Reyes said, an in-house committee cannot make a final recommendation for the board\u2019s approval on the health insurance program issue.<\/p>\n<p>The board would decide whether there is a need to issue another RFP for the group health insurance program.<\/p>\n<p>The government hopes to implement a cafeteria-style program for the health insurance to give members a chance to choose their preferred packages.
