{"id":92393,"date":"2005-07-26T06:19:00","date_gmt":"2005-07-26T06:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a41ea48a-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2005-07-26T06:19:00","modified_gmt":"2005-07-26T06:19:00","slug":"a41ea49b-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a41ea49b-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"STA extends sign-up for Verizon Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Due to insistent public demand, Saipan Tennis Association has extended the deadline for the submission of entries for the men\u2019s and doubles competition of its 3rd Annual Verizon Tennis Cup to Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The Verizon Micronesia and PSG Professional Corp.-sponsored tournament kicks off on Aug. 3 with doubles followed by singles and mixed doubles on Aug. 11.<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s doubles will have five divisions-open, 4.5, 4.0, 3.0, and 2.0, while women\u2019s play would be confined to open, 4.0, and 3.0 divisions only.<\/p>\n<p>Up for grabs in the singles portion of the tournament are men\u2019s and women\u2019s open, men\u2019s and women\u2019s 4.0, men\u2019s and women\u2019s 3.0, and men\u2019s 4.5. Three divisions will be available in mixed doubles: Open, 4.0, and 3.0.<\/p>\n<p>Entry fee for the tournament is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
