The Saipan Chamber of Commerce and the Governor\u2019s Office will sponsor \u201cA Special Conference on Health: Improving Healthcare in the CNMI through Private\/Public Partnerships\u201d this Thursday, Aug. 11.<\/p>\n
The daylong event will bring together public and private health care providers and insurance providers. It will be a first step to initiate dialogue about the way that health care is delivered and funded in the CNMI.<\/p>\n
It will also provide an opportunity for health care providers to network and have the opportunity to discuss many of the issues facing the health care system today.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe anticipate that the day will identify many topics that will need further discussion and efforts to resolve. A report of the day\u2019s proceedings will be published, and follow-up meetings planned,\u201d said Chamber executive director Christine Parke.<\/p>\n
