Aqua Resort Club\u2019s new general manager, Brian Pak, said that more improvements and enhancements are in store for the local community, with Aqua Resort continuing to improve its service to international and local guests.<\/p>\n
The 13-year hotel and hospitality industry veteran said that, although he has only been with the hotel for two weeks, the Achugao facility is truly unique. The hotel has earned the reputation of being the most \u201ccustomer-friendly\u201d on the island.<\/p>\n
The 39-year-old Korean-American said he was impressed with the warm welcome the hotel staff and management gave him, which are the main reasons behind the positive feedback he has heard from the community in the little time he has been on the island.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am very proud of my associates,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Pak said he would carry on the positive image the hotel has kept for a long time and that the good reputation it has reaped will be maintained.<\/p>\n
As for the competition, Pak said he is not really concerned about it. \u201cThere\u2019ll never be competition,\u201d he said, adding that what the hotel should focus on is to how to bring in more guests.<\/p>\n
Pak worked for seven years at Starwood, a company that holds more than 700 hotels worldwide, including Westin, Sheraton, and W Hotels, among others. He worked for Westin Resort Guam for four and a half years and moved to Seoul, South Korea, to help in the establishment of W Hotel in Korea, which is the first W Hotel in Asia.<\/p>\n
\u201cI missed the tropical weather and I wanted to come back and Aqua Resort is just the perfect hotel,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Pak believes that one has to enjoy work above everything else. He said that hard work, dedication, and commitment are the \u201csecret ingredients\u201d for a successful hotel management. \u201cYou have to love what you do in order to get that extra mile and invest time and effort to get that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Aqua Resort has also recognized the efforts of staff members Becky Cruz and Osamu Kobayashi for their dedication and commitment.<\/p>\n
