The writer apologized and cried on the phone during our short conversation. One thing the writer said on the phone, “Please, Mr. Sakisat, I’m worried that my auntie and cousin might lose their jobs at our liaison office.” I told the writer, “Stop crying, exercise your constitutional right, and save your tears for BB’s victory on Nov. 5, 2005.

Everyday there are improvements here at our Hawaii Liaison Office. These are everyday positive things since Mrs. Jeanette Sablan took over the helm of our liaison office. Come down to Honolulu and see for yourself. Do not rely on lies, speculations, and misleading information. First, research the facts before you bark at the wrong tree. Perhaps, my articles may have hurt your feelings because I have told the truth and it hurts so bad.

Yes, indeed, this is the writer who once upon a time challenged our liaison office’s former management because their management style was incompetent. They were never in concert with the goals and objectives of the Babauta and Benavente administration. They neglected and abused their duties and responsibilities. And that’s why they are gone from the face of our Hawaii Liaison Office.

Yes, this writer didn’t vote for the GOP in the last general elections. For you to question my political integrity at this time, I might as well inform you to inform your camp that my absentee ballot is already marked “BB” and the rest of his generals. I love Gov. Babauta and Lt. Gov. Benavente because I can freely speak with them in Chamorro, Spanish, English, and Carolinian.

There’s no question that the political ground here in Honolulu belongs to BB. Ninety-six percent of the employees at our liaison office are for BB. And the same 96 percent of our students are also for BB. So why worry? It’s simple as 1-2-3.

Ray M.
