Northern Marianas Athletics is reminding all interested athletes that it will host the 2005 All Schools Cross Country Championships tomorrow, Nov. 12, at the Commonwealth Ports Authority Airport Field.<\/p>\n
Boys and girls will be divided in 9-and-under, 11-and-under, 13-and-under, 18-and-under age groups and compete for the trophies and ribbons associated with winning the endurance title.<\/p>\n
According to NMA, children in the 9-and-under and 11-and-under age groups will run one mile, while those in the 13-and-under and 18-and-under will leg-out 2.1 miles.<\/p>\n
Registration begins at 3pm with the first race expected to get underway at 4pm. Participants are advised to get there as early as possible for warm-ups and stretching prior to the event.<\/p>\n
