Q4 DEADLINE FOR FILING QUARTERLY TAX RETURNS<\/p>\n
The Division of Revenue and Taxation wishes to remind all CNMI residents that the 2005 4th Quarter deadline for filing the quarterly tax returns is Jan. 31, 2006. <\/p>\n
The Division of Revenue and Taxation will be open from 7:30am until 6:30pm on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006. The office of the Division of Revenue and Taxation is located at the Joeten Dandan Commercial Center. (PR)<\/p>\n
SAIPAN COMMUNITY SCHOOL RESETS NEW YEAR START<\/p>\n
Due to rain delays, the paving project at Saipan Community School won\u2019t be completed until Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006. <\/p>\n
Because of this classes will be cancelled on that day and classes for the New Year will instead begin Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006. The lost school day will be made up Jan. 16, 2006. (PR)<\/p>\n
SMALL CLAIM MATTERS RESCHEDULED<\/p>\n
All small claim matters previously scheduled for Jan. 5, 2006, in Courtroom 220A of the CNMI Superior Court are rescheduled to Feb. 16, 2006.<\/p>\n
The notice was issued on Dec. 22 by Clerk of Court Bernadita A. Sablan.<\/p>\n
DEQ BRIGADE SETS CLEANUP<\/p>\n
The Division of Environmental Quality cleanup brigade will be at it again, picking up trash at Sugar Dock Beach in Susupe toward Aquarius Beach Tower. If you would like to volunteer your time to clean up and beautify the island, meet the DEQ representative in the bright green T-shirt on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at 8am. Come join us and \u201cPick it Up!\u201d<\/p>\n
The brigade cleans until 10am and breaks for drinks, then continues if needed. This month, outstanding brigade volunteers who participated in at least 10 monthly cleanups will receive a brigade cap and those who participated in at least three cleanups will receive a green brigade t-shirt. <\/p>\n
This is a cleanup that should not be missed, so join DEQ\u2019s cleanup brigade and \u201cPick It Up!\u201d <\/p>\n
