With veteran hotel executive Brian Pak manning the helm at the Aqua Resort Club, the hotel vows to meet the challenges facing the tourism and hospitality industry in 2006.<\/p>\n
ARC general manager Pak, who joined the Saipan resort hotel sometime last October, said Aqua Resort would enhance its services and facilities this year.<\/p>\n
\u201cYear 2006 is a time to face tough challenges, but we are already ready with right strategies and directions to overcome. And we will have much fun doing it,\u201d Pak said.<\/p>\n
Aqua Resort\u2019s management and staff greeted the New Year by expressing its gratitude to its patrons and the community for patronizing the hotel\u2019s services in 2005.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor the coming year, we will do whatever we can to meet and even go beyond our customers\u2019 expectations with much improved and enhanced facilities,\u201d Pak added.<\/p>\n
Pak, who has had at least 13 years of experience in the hotel industry, joined Aqua Resort\u2019s management team in October 2005.<\/p>\n
Before joining the ARC team, Pak worked for seven years at Starwood, a company that holds more than 700 hotels worldwide, including Westin, Sheraton, and W Hotels, among others. He worked for Westin Resort Guam for four-and-a-half years and moved to Seoul to help in the establishment of a W Hotel in Korea, which became the first W Hotel in Asia.<\/p>\n
\u201cJoining Aqua Resort was the most exciting thing that happened to me in 2005. Honestly I had a mixed feeling at the beginning as if I was making a good decision coming to Saipan. But now I am certain, I myself am convinced to the fullest that I made a good decision,\u201d Pak said.<\/p>\n
\u201cFurthermore I feel I am lucky to be here working with you all fine people. And I thank you for being here for me.
