Aniceto T. Ogumoro, who was recently arrested for illegal possession of firearms.<\/p>\n<p>DPS Criminal Investigation Bureau chief Maj. Edward H. Manalili said Wabol tapped current training division chief Greg Castro to serve temporarily and concurrently as acting police director.<\/p>\n<p>Manalili said Castro assumed the position of acting police director effective on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The CIB chief, however, stated that there has been no official word yet regarding the replacement of Aniceto Ogumoro\u2019s brother, Ambrosio T. Ogumoro, as the DPS shooting range master.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight now we\u2019re trying to fill up the tight gaps,\u201d said Manalili, who is also the acting DPS spokesman.<\/p>\n<p>As of yesterday, the commissioner has yet to issue an order that would clarify the status of the Ogumoro brothers.<\/p>\n<p>Police arrested Ambrosio Ogumoro last Friday on allegations he beat up his wife and for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunitions. He also allegedly threatened to kill Gov. Benigno R. Fitial and \u201cblow up\u201d DPS.<\/p>\n<p>On the following day, police arrested Aniceto Ogumoro, after they raided his house in Capitol Hill where they allegedly recovered three rifles and 25 boxes of ammunitions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Department of Public Safety acting commissioner Juan Wabol has already named the replacement of acting DPS police director Capt.
