Edward H. Manalili, chief of the Department of Public Safety\u2019s Criminal Investigation Bureau, said the infant was in a child seat at the rear of the car.<\/p>\n<p>Manalili said two persons were injured in the accident that happened along the back road south of the Kagman intersection at 6:50pm. Two other children were also slightly hurt.<\/p>\n<p>Investigation showed that a northbound red Toyota Tacoma suddenly encroached on the southbound lane, colliding head on with a white Hyundai Elantra that was traveling south.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the Hyundai, an Asian woman, sustained a fractured right wrist and lower leg and lacerations to the leg and face. The unhurt infant was her passenger.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the truck was not injured but his passenger, an eight-year-old boy who was sitting in the truck\u2019s bed, sustained a fractured leg.
