A bail hearing was set Friday afternoon before Superior Court Associate Judge David A. Wiseman.<\/p>\n<p>Peter said that on Feb. 2, 2006, he received tips that Rama, a Filipino, is overstaying in the CNMI as a tourist and that she has worked illegally as a babysitter.<\/p>\n<p>Peter said Rama admitted to him that she has overstayed in the CNMI by seven years and 11 months.<\/p>\n<p>The respondent allegedly confessed she has been babysitting for various parents on Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>The investigator learned that Rama entered the CNMI on a short-term tourist entry status on March 9, 1998, which expired on March 15, 1998.<\/p>\n<p>Peter said Rama did not renew her tourist status and that she does not have any pending labor case.<\/p>\n<p>He said that some parents told him that the respondent has been babysitting their children for about a month now, but that they were not aware she is an overstaying alien.
