{"id":98155,"date":"2006-02-18T04:32:00","date_gmt":"2006-02-18T04:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a656e6df-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2006-02-18T04:32:00","modified_gmt":"2006-02-18T04:32:00","slug":"a656e6f0-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a656e6f0-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"G-Rollers I flattens Sixers III"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Garapan Rollers I waltzed past Sixers III in the second play date of the 2006 Inter-Village Youth Basketball League Thursday night at the Garapan Basketball Court.<\/p>\n<p>The home team came out strong and got four points each from Jason Palacios and Rainier Deleon Guerrero to lead 10-2 after the first quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Garapan slowed down a bit in the second but it hardly mattered as Sixers III continued to fire blanks and trailed by nine points, 5-14, at the break.<\/p>\n<p>Sixers III brought a more effective offensive punch in the third and outscored Garapan, 6-2, and in the process trimmed their deficit to just five points, 11-16, heading into the final eight minutes of the ballgame.<\/p>\n<p>G-Rollers, however, were not ready to become the victim of the season\u2019s first upset as they exploded for 24 points in the final canto, while limiting Sixers III to a measly six points, to win by 25.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Bondoc was the highpoint man for G-Rollers with 16 points, while Jason Palacios added 12. Reinhold Ferrer wound up with four markers to lead Sixers III.<\/p>\n<p>Garapan Rollers 40 \u2013 Bondoc 16, J.
