{"id":98306,"date":"2006-02-24T03:05:00","date_gmt":"2006-02-24T03:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a65e0fa6-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2006-02-24T03:05:00","modified_gmt":"2006-02-24T03:05:00","slug":"a65e0fb7-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a65e0fb7-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"AGO files charges vs CUC board chair\u2019s son for burglary incidents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Attorney General&#8217;s Office filed charges yesterday against the son of Commonwealth Utilities Corp. board chair Frank Guerrero in connection with three burglary incidents on Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>John Richard Palacios Guerrero was charged with three counts of burglary, four counts of theft, and one count of criminal mischief.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Prosecutor Jeffery Warfield Sr. stated in the information that Guerrero burglarized the Pure Water Co. along Beach Road on Nov. 25, 2005, and stole money, food stamps, and checks.<\/p>\n<p>Warfield said the defendant also stole credit cards belonging to Roger Valas.<\/p>\n<p>Warfield said Guerrero then burglarized Truong&#8217;s Restaurant in Chalan Kanoa on Dec. 11, 2005, and stole a computer system, credit card, fax\/copier machine, and gift certificates.<\/p>\n<p>The chief prosecutor said the defendant damaged the door and lock at Truong&#8217;s Restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>He said the defendant also burglarized Horizontal Corp. (HBR International) in San Jose on Dec. 18, 2005, and stole items totaling $3,300, including four cell phones, watches, blank company checks, a CD player, and other items.<\/p>\n<p>In that case, Guerrero posted a $50,000 property bond.<\/p>\n<p>Guerrero was also arrested during a reported break-in at Mid Pac Micronesia Building in Gualo Rai on Dec. 30, 2005.
