Lizama accepted Haro\u2019s plea and sentenced her to six months in prison, all suspended.<\/p>\n<p>Lizama placed the defendant on probation and required her to pay $100 fine, perform 24 hours of community work service, and write a letter of apology to the victim.<\/p>\n<p>Court papers said that on Sept. 19, 2005 the defendant struck the victim with an empty soda can, pulled her hair, and scratched her face.<\/p>\n<p>In other court news, a teenager accused of assaulting a man with a baseball bat and damaging his car, has entered a guilty plea.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny John, 19, pleaded guilty to assault and battery.<\/p>\n<p>Lizama accepted his plea and sentenced him to one year in prison, all suspended except 132 days.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the agreement, the judge gave John credit for the 132 days he already served in jail.<\/p>\n<p>Lizama placed the defendant on probation and directed him to pay $1,000 in restitution and $230 in fine and court assessment fee.<\/p>\n<p>John was charged with one count of criminal mischief and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. The government then filed an amended information.<\/p>\n<p>Court papers said that on Oct. 2, 2005 the defendant beat up MD Aashraful Alam. <\/p>\n<p>On Nov. 11, 2005, the defendant allegedly struck the victim\u2019s car\u2019s rear windshield with a baseball bat. He also allegedly struck the victim with a baseball bat on the neck, causing the victim to feel dizzy.
