It doesn’t matter how many videos you watch, anything can happen. So we’re just rely on our hard training. We’ve been training Cliff and Frank really hard after Trench Warz II.”

Alvarez also explained that since fighters and organizers from Guam were on Saipan to witness Trench Warz II last February, they were able to see both Masga and Camacho in action.

“All the guys know about Frank because they were here when he fought his uncle in Trench Warz II. We gave them the video of the first fight so they know exactly what Frank is capable of doing so they placed him up there with one of their best fighters,” he said.

Alvarez said both fighters have been putting on a lot of hard work in preparation for the fights.

“We’ve been working a lot after Trench Warz II. We knew that we were going to fight on Guam, so I never changed the usual every day practice. We’ve only upped the level a little bit, from sparring lightly to sparring moderately to hard now. We’re working out Frank extra hard and we been putting him in ‘The Pit,’” Alvarez said.

The Pit is a six-minute training session in which a fighter faces three different opponents. Camacho battled a fighter for the first two minutes, then another fighter replaces the first fighter for the next two minutes. The third fighter enters with two minutes left, replacing the second fighter.

With all the intense training, Alvarez said both fighters are in good condition.

“They definitely have a lot more stamina. We worked a lot of stamina and endurance training,” he said.

Accompanying Masga and Camacho to Guam are Alvarez, Jason Tarkong, Joe Ocampo, and Ken Tanzawa, all part of Trench Tech.

Trench Tech-Purebred Saipan fighters Frank “The Crank” Camacho and “Suicide” Cliff Masga will put their skills and toughness to the test again.

[4

post-99910","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news
["GET
