Robert Talavera of Super Fafa and Lynn Teregeyo of Team Familia lead the individual winners of the inaugural Philippine Bowling Association-Budweiser Monday Night League that recently concluded at the Saipan Bowling Center.<\/p>\n
Talavera and Teregeyo won a total of six individual awards between them with Teregeyo hauling the lion\u2019s share with four.<\/p>\n
Talavera finished the season with the highest average after knocking down 205.6 pins per game, while Teregeyo was the women\u2019s top roller with a 168.21 pinfall average.<\/p>\n
The pair also got going in the high series scratch category with Talavera besting older brother Edgar by a single pin, 696-695, and Teregeyo winning after putting up a 592. Edgar Talavera played for Pacific Islands Club 2.<\/p>\n
Teregeyo also reigned supreme in the women\u2019s high game scratch and high game with handicap after rolling 227 in the latter and 252 in the former. <\/p>\n
Simon Manacop of Monday Night League champion Saipan Bowling Center took top honors for the men\u2019s high game scratch with his 279 followed by Edgar Talavera\u2019s 278.<\/p>\n
Efren Cacdac of Splitless and John Jimeno of PIC 2 finished tied atop the high game with handicap for the men after registering identical 291s. <\/p>\n
Mario Mayuga of Splitless won the high series with handicap after rolling a 777 followed by Jimeno who knocked down a 761.<\/p>\n
Gina Sablan of CIC-Aon prevented a Teregeyo sweep of the women\u2019s individual awards after coming away with a 696 in the high series with handicap.<\/p>\n
In the special team awards, four different teams won the four categories. Super Fafa (830 pinfalls) topped the high game scratch followed by PIC 2 (821). PIC 1 (913) was No. 1 in the high game with handicap followed by a tie between Kitz\u2019s Youth Team and Budweiser (903). SBC (2,322) and Super Fafa (2,313) was 1 and 2 in the high series scratch, while Budweiser (2,585) got the high series scratch with Splitless (2,554) the runner-up.<\/p>\n
