FREE HEALTH SCREENING FOR OFWS
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration is informing the Filipino community in the CNMI of the free health screening program scheduled this May 7, 2006, from 9am to 12 noon at the ground floor of the Nauru Building in Susupe.
Individuals who would like to avail of blood sugar testing should fast (no food or water) from midnight of May 6, 2006, up to the time of their check up.
Also, OWWA is informing the Filipino community that the English Developmental Course Batch II will start this May 21, 2006. The course will include grammar, vocabulary development, conversational English, phonics, and writing. Interested OFWs should register at the OWWA Counter, ground floor, Nauru Building. The last day for registration is May 19, 2006. (PR)
UPAA ELECTION OF OFFICERS SET
The University of the Philippines Alumni Association-CNMI Chapter will have a reunion/get together and election of officers on Saturday, May 6, 2006, starting at 5pm at the Filipino Workers Resource Center area, first floor, Nauru Bldg.
All graduates and former students of the University of the Philippines, including current UPAA members, are encouraged to attend the potluck reunion.
