The House of Manhoben Saints received a special treat from its sponsor yesterday for their efforts in the recently concluded 2006 Island-wide Village Youth Basketball League.

CTSI Logistics expressed its appreciation to the cagers’ performance and treated the players to Sunday Brunch at the Saipan Grand Hotel.

“When House of Manhoben approached us to sponsor, as part of our commitment to support the community, we immediately jumped on it,” said CTSI general manager Rene Magalong. “It is our pleasure to sponsor.”

Magalong, as well as staff of CTSI, were then presented the second runner-up trophy won by the Saints in the league.

Joining the team in expressing their appreciation were managers Dolores Taman and Caroline Masga, coaches Luis and L.J. Reyes, and assistant coach Kimberly Indalecio.

Magalong also explained that the relationship with the Saints is “just the start” as the company is committed to continuing their support of the team.

With that, CTSI Logistics will again sponsor the Saints in the ongoing NYBA league.

“It’s good to see young kids do their best in every game,” Magalong said. “It’s not a matter of winning, but how they play the game and enjoy.”
