The newly formed Northern Marianas Badminton Federation announced that weekday and weekend badminton sessions at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium are cancelled for now and will be back after the 6th Micronesian Games.

Division of Sports and Recreation cited that the reason behind the cancellation of badminton sessions at the Oleai Sports Complex venue is the renovation and repairs the Ada Gym is currently undertaking, which is in preparation for the quadrennial event that will be hosted by Saipan from June 23 to July 2.

With the lack of facility to play their favorite sport, NMBF officials are now scouting alternative venues and requested members for their patience and cooperation. (PR)
