An argument between two intoxicated men at a barracks in Koblerville ended up in a fight and a stabbing that left one of them injured Sunday night.

Jaypee Baysa, 19, sustained lacerations to his left shoulder and on the right hand. He was treated at the Commonwealth Health Center, according to the Department of Public Safety.

The suspect, Cesar A. Barrozo, 32, was arrested at the scene for assault with a dangerous weapon.

DPS acting spokesman Sgt. Thomas A. Blas Jr. said police received a call at 9:58pm about the incident that occurred at the Elite Printing barracks.

Blas said preliminary investigation showed that Baysa and Barrozo, along with other companions, were drinking earlier in Garapan.

When the group arrived at the barracks, Baysa and Barrozo got into an argument, triggering their fight.

Blas said that, during the commotion, Barrozo stabbed Baysa with an unidentified object.

Responding police officers arrested the suspect at the scene. (Ferdie de la Torre)
