The wait to see action in the newly built octagon owned by Trench Tech Purebred Saipan will be over as “Trench Warz IV: Enter the Octagon” takes over tonight at the Saipan World Resort.

Coordinator Cuki Alvarez said he and his crew were busy disassembling the octagon at the Trench Tech gym yesterday, and will assemble it this morning at the Royal Taga Hall of the hotel.

Also, Alvarez disclosed that Trench Tech will be getting assistance from friends from Guam as mix martial arts veteran Steve Roberto, Roman Dela Cruz, and Terrence Aflague will serve as referees for the event.

“They’re really experienced and so having them to referee is very good,” Alvarez said.

The main event pits Slade “Rage” Adelbai and Tony “Xcalibur” Nekaifes in what was supposed to be the main event of “Trench Warz III: Commotion” last May.

Frank “The Crank” Camacho will also have his toughest test yet as he faces fellow undefeated fighter Troy Munoz of Guam, while heavyweight Manny “The Enforcer” Chong returns to Saipan to battle 310 lb. Ben Kosam. Chong has had two fights on Saipan, winning both.

Other fights include Spike 22’s Peter Alvarez taking on Paul Silk, Arthur Reyes facing Jay Muna, Tunz Ngotel battling Lucky Sharri, and Jay “Furbs” Santos fighting Shabb Sablan.

Ken “Terror” Tanzawa is also scheduled to battle P.J. Mettao, Roland Delos Reyes will fight Edward Guiao, and Leroy Sablan will take on Jess “J-Dawg” Ruben before James Blas and Martin Castro collide.

Dragon Tribe’s Peter Guerrero will also get into the action as he faces Chris Sablan.

The fight will then be followed by a boxing match between local amateur Aguinaldo Tesada and Yasu Tsutumi.

Shortly after, it will be the battle of San Nicolases as Mariano and Rick face off.

Jason “Rush” Tarkong will then battle John Tudela, followed by a fight featuring Syl Teregeyo and J.D. “Out” Reyes.

The inaugural Trench Warz was held on November last year, with Camacho defeating Bernie “The Shadow of Death” Neth in the main event. Three months later, “Trench Warz II” took center stage with Tarkong beating Dave Kapileo in the main showdown, while Adelbai defeated last minute sign up Charleston Aiken in “Trench Warz III” last May.
