The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. said that a broken watermain has resulted in a critical water outage in Fina Sisu and As Lito yesterday.
The pipeline was broken as a private company worked in the Joeten Fina Sisu housing development, CUC said.
Crews from the utility agency began making immediate repairs yesterday and expected restoring water services to affected areas late the same day.
“As soon as the pipeline is fixed, water will be released to the residents in these two villages,” CUC said.
The utility also reminds all property owners and construction firms to notify CUC prior to digging or maintenance projects that affect public utility. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B]
