SGA Ace of Aces tomorrow

The Saipan Golf Association will hold its annual Ace of Aces Tournament this weekend, Dec. 9 and 10, on two golf venues on Saipan.

SGA secretary Larry Guerrero said the annual championship swing-off begins this Saturday at the Kingfisher Golf Links in Talafofo. Check-in time is at 8:30am with tee time set 30 minutes later at 9am.

The next 18 holes of golf will then shift to Marpi’s Laolao Bay Golf Resort west course on Sunday where participants are requested to check in for pairings and briefings at 9:30am, 30 minutes ahead of the 10am tee time.

Guerrero said the 12 monthly Aces that qualified for the yearend swing-off include retired judge Edward Manibusan (January), Matias Chargualaf (February), Rick Kautz (March), Jon “Nunni” Cruz (April), Ray Salas (May), Ed Sablan (June), John “J.B.” L. Babauta (July), Frances Sablan (August), Rene Batallones (September), Ray San Nicolas (October), Bob Magofna (November), and Tony Guerrero (December).
