Fil-Taga Ace of the Month tourney on Sunday

The Fil-Taga Golfers Association will hold its December Ace of the Month Tournament this Sunday, Dec. 10, at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.
According to tournament director and Fil-Taga secretary Nestor “Dodong” Siruelo, show time is set at 7am with tee-off time scheduled 30 minutes later at 7:30am.

The golf club’s Christmas Party and election of officers for 2007 will follow at noon at Casa De Ilongga, Garapan, across Middle Road in front of the Mobil Gas station.
Siruelo said a boatload of prizes will be given away, including hole-in-one awards in two par-3 holes.
Established in 1993, Fil-Taga’s tournaments operate under a computer-controlled handicap system that creates parity among players in the A and B Flights.
A Fil-Taga Ace of the Month champion is crowned monthly. Regular tournaments are scheduled once a month, normally every third Sunday. Green fees are in the $35 to $40 price range for most tournaments. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B]
