In the article “Daycares to DCCA: Pay up” published on April 1, 2008, it was stated that “According to Tina Alverio of Smart Start Nurturing Center, she spoke with a ‘source’ who told her that none of the daycares are in the Treasury system.” It was actually another daycare representative who made the statement and not Tina Alverio of Smart Start Nurturing Center. Smart Start Nurturing Center does not have any children under the childcare program. Our apologies.
