RASHIN magazine staff were recently in the CNMI to do a feature story promoting “Long Staying Active Senior Living” in the islands. The quarterly publication has a circulation of 100,000 with readers being active men and women in their 50s.

The crew of two spent time exploring Saipan, Tinian, and Rota as well as interviewing local Japanese to learn more about living in the CNMI. The 10-page article will run in the June issue showcasing the islands for the active senior market in Japan. The estimated value of the exposure is $50,000.

“The active senior market is important to the Marianas Visitors Authority,” said MVA managing director Perry Tenorio. “Our close proximity to Japan combined with our tropical weather, make our islands very attractive to this market.”

MVA extends its appreciation to Baybreeze on Rota, Fleming Hotel and Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino on Tinian, and Aquarius Beach Tower, LaoLao Bay Golf Resort, Saipan Sea Ventures, Himawari Restaurant, Hertz Rent-a-car, and Gentle Brook Café on Saipan. (PR)
