13 matches slated for Trench Warz VIII-Kontra

Two main events will headline Trench Warz VIII-Kontra set for tomorrow at the Trench Tech Gym in San Antonio.
The first main event will feature Jason “Rush” Tarkong squaring off against Myron “The Natural” San Nicolas in the octagon cage ring.
It will be followed shortly by the semi main event that will pit Slade “The Rage” Adelbai against Neil “Lion Heart” Taisacan.
The other matches for Trench Warz VIII-Kontra are: Guam’s Ryan “The Dentist” Urquizu vs. Arnold “Killer B” Balbin; Spike 22 Guam’s Rudy “The Uzi” San Nicolas vs. Zalaka’s Lyle DL Guerrero; Team Peskadot’s Jay “Taby” Muna vs. Spike 22 Guam’s Jun “Shakaraba” San Nicolas; Trench Tech’s Giovanni “Palaxi” Sablan vs. Team Marianas Elite’s Maitai “The Charger” Charley; Syl “The Deal” Teregeyo vs. Kontra’s Robert “The Pitbull” Palacios; and Rick “Too Slick” San Nicolas vs. Ton “Debbs” Sablan.
San Nicolas is looking for his first win in nine matches, while Sablan is dubbed the “Chamorro Butdoza” and weighs in at 340 lbs.
Young gun Shane “Pikaboo” Alvarez, meanwhile, will try to settle the score with archrival Brandon Camacho of Team Predator when they lock horns in the ninth match.
The last four matches, meanwhile, will feature grappling gold medalist Chris “No Luv” Layug taking on stand-up gladiator Derrek Chen of Team Zalaka, “Kill” Bill Saures against Darryl “The Derailer” Salas, Purebred Saipan and Grappling Unlimited Hawaii’s Jose “No Way” Mafnas against “Brutal” Bryson Sablan, and Trench Tech’s “Badd” Brad Palacios squaring off against Zalaka’s Andrew Sablan.
Trench Tech president and Trench Warz promoter Cuki Alvarez said also in attenance is the Marianas’ and Guam’s MMA sensation and top 140-pounder Justin “The Shocker” Cruz.
Aside from the 13 slam-bang MMA matches, Alvarez also promised that Trench Warz VIII-Kontra will have a lot of door prizes and giveaways for lucky patrons.
Tickets are available at Boarderline, 67zero Rocksteady Shop, Trench Tech Gym, and Hannam Market. General seating is $20 with VIP seating at $40.
Alvarez said Trench Warz VIII-Kontra fighters will have an official weigh-in and rules meeting today at Hard Rock Café Saipan.
