The U.S. military is conducting live fire training on the northern island of Farallon de Mendenilla today, Aug. 8, between 8am and 7pm.

Due to the danger imposed by this activity, the Emergency Management Office advises the public— especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators—to avoid the Farallon de Mendenilla Training Area on a 10 nautical mile radius on all quadrants.

Any questions should be directed to the EMO Operations Section at 322-9528 and 322-9529, VHF MARINE CHNL 16 and HF Single Side Band Radio on 5.205.0. (EMO)
