A fundamental right

Freedom of expression is one of the most cherished and fundamental rights in our democratic form of government. I adamantly object and reject any attempt by anyone to restrict what I can write or say in the newspaper or anywhere else, particularly on public issues and including the support and/or opposition to any candidate for the position of Delegate to the U.S. Congress.

No candidate—no voter—no person in the Commonwealth should allow anyone to dictate when, where, and what may be said or written on public issues.
