The Supreme Court of the United States is accepting applications for the 2009-2010 Supreme Court Fellows Program.

According to United States Chief Justice John G. Roberts “The program offers an opportunity to learn about and contribute to the administration of justice at a national level.”

Each year four Fellows are selected to spend one year at the United States Supreme Court, the Federal Judicial Center, the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, or the U.S. Sentencing Commission.

The program seeks applicants from a variety of backgrounds, but all interested individuals must have at least one postgraduate degree, two or more years of professional experience with a record of high performances, and multidisciplinary training and experience, including familiarity with the judicial process.

Additional information is available at www.fellows.supremecourtus.gov, and brochures are available at the office of the CNMI Supreme Court Clerk, located in the Guma Hustisia, Susupe. (PR)
