Savings Week proclamation signing
Saipan Mayor Juan B. Tudela will sign a mayoral proclamation today, Oct. 17, 2008, to designate the week of Oct. 19 to 25, 2008, as "National Save for Retirement Week" on Saipan.
Saipan Mayor Juan B. Tudela will sign a mayoral proclamation today, Oct. 17, 2008, to designate the week of Oct. 19 to 25, 2008, as “National Save for Retirement Week” on Saipan.
Tudela acknowledges the cost of retirement continues to rise, in part, and the number of employers providing retiree health coverage continues to decline, and retiree healthcare costs continue to increase at a rapid pace. And many employees may not be aware of retirement savings options and may not have focused on the importance of and need for saving for their own retirement.
The proclamation signing will be at 2pm at the Saipan Mayor’s Office. Retirees and interested residents of Saipan are invited to attend. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B]
