[B]CA sets new carry-on baggage size limit[/B]
Continental Airlines has announced that effective Nov. 1, 2008, the carry-on baggage requirement will be reduced from 51 linear inches to 45 linear inches within the 50 States, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Maximum weight allowed for carry-on baggage is 40 pounds or 18 kilos. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B] [B]An invitation to a haunted house[/B]
The Kagman Komunidat Association is inviting the public to the Kagman Haunted House scheduled for Oct. 31st at the Kagman Community Center. Doors open at 7pm. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B] [B]Marriage Encounter weekend set[/B]
The next Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend will be held on Nov. 14-16, 2008 at the Saipan Grand Hotel. To join, contact John and Vicky Mafnas at 285-8454, e-mail vbmafnas@yahoo.com.
All Encountered Couples and Priests are invited to share their gifts, talents and time in the planning and hosting of this Weekend. The Division of Environmental Quality cleanup brigade will be picking up trash at Tank Beach in Kagman on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 8am. Volunteers will clean until 10am and break for drinks and then continue, if needed.
This month, outstanding brigade volunteers who participated in at least 10 monthly cleanups will receive a brigade cap and those who participated in at least three cleanups will receive a green brigade t-shirt. For more information, contact DEQ at 664-8500. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B] [B]Casting call [/B]
Auditions will be held for the upcoming play, It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, the Broadway version of the movie Miracle on 34th. Street. Auditions are on Wednesday, Oct. 29, and Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, and on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 2pm to 4pm, at D-101 MHS (Mr. Easton’s Studio).
