Italy’s premiere beer launched in style
Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Italy’s premiere beer and one Europe’s oldest, was launched in style among Saipan’s beer enthusiasts last Friday night at Palms Resort Saipan.
The launching coincided with a fashion show as Jessica Rosario, sales and marketing manager of Mid-Pacific Distributors Guam/Pacific Trading Co., said the beer must always go with great style and fashion.
The models walked in their stylish clothing and Docomo cellular phones.
Rosario said the beer was also launched together with the Hyundai Genesis from Triple J Motors.
“It’s style in a bottle, a cellphone, and a brand new and stylish car,” Rosario explained.
The beer was also launched with tasteful food.
“The Peroni is always associated with a clean and stylish beer,” she said.
PTC general manager Charles Cepeda was glad to see a huge crowd during the launching.
“It’s nice. We have an excellent turnout,” he said.
The crowd included government officials and business leaders.
“We have a very successful evening. We accomplished what we wanted to achieve. As you can see we have stylish food that compliments the Peroni,” said Glen Hunter, also of PTC.
Hunter said the fashion show that went with the launching was actually meant to discover the meaning of style.
“It was beyond our expectations. We have a perfect crowd tonight and they enjoyed our great food as well as the great beer and wines.”
PTC also launched two wines—Nottage Hill and Kendall-Jackson—at the Hyatt Regency Saipan Thursday night.
The Peroni beer along with Nottage Hill and Kendall-jackson wines are now available in selected outlets.
The pale lager is a light-straw colored. It tastes light grains along with some nuts and some crisp hops.
It has also some fruit sensations, especially when the beer begins to warm.
But it is always good to drink it when it is cold. Its alcohol level is 4.7 percent by volume.
