3rd dog show set June 13

The third annual dog show has been set for June 13 at the Commonwealth Ports Authority Airport Field.
This year’s event is dubbed “PAWS Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Boonies,” according to organizers PAWS and Beautify CNMI.
There will be six categories: the fattest, booniest, most disobedient, most talented, best Star Wars character and best in show.
The event is now open for registration.
Organizers said there will no entry fee for the contest but only a donation of $5 to $10.

The sponsors that were initially listed by organizers include Costco, Pacific Trading Co., Pacific Islands Club, and Beautify CNMI.
Bobbi Grizzard said any animals that have mange or other communicable diseases will not be accepted to compete.
“Instead, we encourage you to take the animal to one of the island’s veterinarians for treatment,” she said.
Organizers welcome any financial donation to PAWS for the show and volunteers to help during the event.
PAWS CNMI is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the health, care, welfare and population control of cats and dogs in the CNMI.
