A winter solstice wedding in Las Vegas

On Dec. 21, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mary Louise O. DeLeon Guerrero wed Air Force 1st Lt. Johnathon E. McCashland in an intimate family ceremony.

Mary Louise is the daughter of Edward and Eve DeLeon Guerrero of Koblerville, Saipan. John is the son of Roger and Jill McCashland of Richmond, Indiana.

1st Lt. McCashland, who will become Capt. McCashland in February 2012, is a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force and has recently transitioned from flying the HH 60 Pave Hawk Helicopters to fly KC 135 Stratotankers. 

This winter, the newlywed couple will move from Las Vegas to Peoria, Illinois, where John has accepted a position as an engineer for Caterpillar Inc., at their world headquarters and Mary Louise plans to continue her graduate work.
