Chilean wines are star of the night at WPS fundraiser

The 4th Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser for Whispering Palms School was held Friday night, Jan. 17, at the Hyatt Regency Saipan, featuring Calina Chilean wines distributed by Pacific Trading Co.

The poolside event also included an assortment of hors d’oeuvres, music provided by Project Blue, and a silent auction where guests were able to bid on beautiful artwork and a wide range of items, such as sumptuous dinners at Coffee & Jazz, parasailing with BSea Marine Sports, fitness class memberships at Pacific Wellness, overnight stays at Hyatt, PIC, and Marianas Resort, and many other items that were generously donated for the auction.

A large number of the guests participated in the heads/tails game and the lucky winner won a Sunday brunch for two at the Hyatt Regency Saipan.

Whispering Palms School, located on Upper Navy Hill, is a non-profit school educating children from 1st to 8th grade. The mission of Whispering Palms School is to provide a safe, nurturing, challenging, and successful learning environment.
