BANMI youth league meeting today

Basketball Association of Northern Mariana Islands is calling on coaches, players, teams and others interested in participating in the 2014 BANMI Youth Basketball League to attend a meeting today at 5:30pm at the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Details of the league that will have six divisions (girls and boys U21, U18, and U13 age groups) will be discussed at the meeting. Interested teams are also asked to secure rosters, entrance fees, and waiver forms on or before Sept. 4. The league is looking to open competition on Sept. 5

As part of BANMI’s avenues of service, to better serve the community, and share the same strategic plans to assist the future development of coaches, players, other participants, team representatives, and followers, the group will offer the following programs for free: Coaches clinic by Elias Rangamar on Aug. 23 from 9am to 12pm at the Ada gym and scorebench official and junior referee clinic by the BANMI referee association on Aug. 23 from 1pm to 3pm at the Ada gym.
