Pinoy Super Dad search is a go
This December, the United Filipino Organizations will be launching another contest, this time for fathers, and UFO is now opening its doors for possible contestants.
“It’s about time for our daddies, papas, tatay [the Philippine word for father] to show us what they’ve got,” UFO president Annamae Adaza said.
The competition is open to all fathers with ages 25 to 45.
Deadline for accepting applicants will be Sept. 28, 2014.
Fathers will be competing in the following categories: production number, talent portion, formal wear, and question-and-answer portion.
Prizes are $800 for first place, $500 for second, $300 for third, $200 for fourth, and $100 for fifth.
“All participants will receive certificates of participation and other consolation prizes. We are also looking for donors and sponsors who wish to help out for the event,” Adaza said.
For more information or to register, call Adaza at 483-5237, UFO secretary Mario Mayuga at 285-1021, event chair Nel Atalig at 233-3854, or event director Ernie Molina at 789-8212.
