BECQ brigade sets Tanapag Beach cleanup

The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality Cleanup Brigade will be picking up trash at Tanapag Beach on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, starting at at 8am. If you would like to volunteer, meet the BECQ representatives on Saturday at the Tanapag Social Hall area/parking lot at 8am. Volunteers will split into groups and clean until 10am and break for drinks and then continue, if needed.

The public is also invited to also take part in this year’s annual International Coastal Cleanup, which will be held on Sept. 26-27, 2014. For more information on how to participate in the ICC, contact Avra Heller at 664-8510.
