The non-profit organization Emon Lodge No. 179 will be hosting its installation of officers tomorrow at the Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga Hall starting at 6pm.

Member Bong D. Malasarte said it will be the group’s 23rd installation.

Emon Lodge No. 179 was installed on Saipan 23 years ago in 1992.

The group is a fraternity of men and focuses on helping the community. Their lodge is in Chalan Piao at the Joeten building. They meet every second Saturday of the month.

The group used to have more than 50 members on Saipan but some have already transferred to other places because of their professions.

“We have 15 to 20 active members residing here,” Malasarte said.

The group is part of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines and consists of more than 500 groups.
