GMS students stand out in forensic competition

Congratulations to all participating students from Green Meadow School for performing extremely well in both semifinals and final rounds of the Regional Primary Grade Forensic Competition on Feb. 14, 2015, at Kagman Elementary School. GMS students from Kinder 5 to 5th grade competed in the event.

In the K-2 Division, final rounds’ top honor in Duo Interpretation were won by K5 pupils Chedlen Rose Villanueva and Justin Mallari, while in the semifinals, K5 Shalei Terrie Camacho and K5 Carly Kate Dela Cruz placed first in Impromptu A and Reader’s Forum A respectively. Gold honor in Impromptu B Semi was won by second grader Solana Arro Hunter. GMS K-2 Team was also triumphant by placing second in the final rounds of Duo, Reader’s Forum, and Impromptu.

First place in the final round of Reader’s Forum in the 3-5 Division was won by fifth grade Rownel Jody Coloma while the same top honor was awarded to Jill Anne Marie (fourth grade) for besting other contestants in Humorous Interpretation Final. GMS 3-5 Division Team also placed second in the final rounds of Dramatic Interpretation and Choral Speaking. They also posted second place in the semifinals for Reader’s Forum A, Reader’s Forum B, Duo A and Duo B. GMS K-5 and 3-5 Teams also registered major honors both in semi-final and final rounds.
