Aguon tosses 3 shutout innings in Red Sox win
Craig Aguon tossed three shutout innings in relief and the Red Sox had 14 hits in their 15-1 demolition of the Braves in the Senior division of the Saipan Little League on Sunday at the Francisco M. “Tan Ko” Palacios Baseball Field.
Aguon held the Braves to two hits, both singles to Logan Martin and Kekuni Kaainoa, with three strikeouts and one walk.
Vince Leon Guerrero pitched the first two innings surrendering three hits—a single to Donnie Fejeran, and doubles to Ernie Dela Cruz and J.J. Fejeran—while fanning two and walking two more batters.

Dela Cruz scored the Braves’ lone run in the second inning.
Roke Tenorio led the Red Sox’s hit parade going 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, and two RBIs—both RBI singles in the second and fifth innings while Jobe Reyes went 2-for-2 with a two-RBI single in a seven-run second inning.
Aguon, Richard Atalig, and Nate Camacho all had 2-for-4 plate appearances with the former having a pair of singles and one run. Atalig scored twice and had an RBI while, Camacho had three runs with a double, triple, and an RBI.
Enforcers 5, Comets 3
Ethan Babauta and Henry Lizama starred for the Enforcers against the Comets in another game in the Senior division.
Babauta pitched a complete game and was tagged with two earned runs on six hits with six strikeouts and one walk.
Lizama, who struck out in his first plate appearance, finished 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.
JUNIORS DIVISION
Fielders 18, Red Sox 6
Sho Taguchi tossed 3 1/2 one-hit innings and the Fielders used a nine-run first inning to silence the Red Sox.
He only gave up one earned run, fanned two, and walked two where he forced the Red Sox batters to grounders that kept the defense busy.
Kimo Aingalen blasted an inside-the-park homerun—a two-run shot in the fifth—in a 3-for-4 performance at the plate with three runs and a triple. Napu Pua went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI.
MAJORS DIVISION
Braves 4, Comets 0
Vicente Camacho and Anthony Dizon pitched and batted the Braves to victory over the Comets.
Camacho went 3-for-3 with one run and two RBIs, and pitched one inning in relief to complete the shutout win.
He quickly retired Reid Teregeyo and Kobe Deleon Guerrero, and walked Zeph Limes before forcing Ethan Somol to ground out on a 4-3 putout play to end the game in the top of the sixth.
Dizon also did his share on the mound and at the plate. He tossed five shutout innings with no hits, fanning nine and walking three more batters, and went 2-for-3 with one run and a triple.
Padres 26, Twins 5
Tarrance Babauta belted three homeruns in leading the Padres to the easy win against the As Matuis Twins. He had a two-run shot in the first and made two inside-the-park round-trippers after that.
Babauta, who singled in the fourth where he scored on a passed ball, finished 4-for-4 with four RBIs while Maximus Gabionza went 3-for-5 with a triple, three runs, and an RBI.
Babauta also pitched two shutout innings in relief with six strikeouts and one walk. Tylon Sablan started for two innings giving up two earned runs on four hits while fanning three and walking two.
Little Legales 15, Jets 2
In the final match, the Little Legals used an eight-run third inning to breeze past the still winless Jets.
