Northern Marianas College hosted a legislative roundtable with members of the House of Representatives and Senate on Tuesday at the institution’s As Terlaje campus. The roundtable discussion was aimed at strengthening the partnership and communication between NMC and the Legislature. Topics included workforce development efforts, NMC’s budget, accreditation updates, and the expansion of campus facilities. There was also a campus tour that included a visit to the CREES aquaculture facilities. (NMC)

NMC does not have a legislative consultant like PSS and NMTI. Before you even meet with the legislature a decision was already made. Decisions are made behind closed doors….before you even started speaking.
First and foremost respect the students and your employees. They are connected and they will let the legislature, governor, lt. governor, pss and NMTI know of what is going on.
