The Commonwealth Advocates for Recovery Efforts, or CARE, will continue with its volunteer storm debris sorting and staging project this Saturday, Dec. 5. This weekend the project will focus on Kagman, from 8:30am to 12pm.

Volunteers are needed to assist in sorting storm debris from Typhoon Soudelor in preparation for its removal. Once debris is sorted by the volunteers, debris will be removed and disposed of by the CNMI Department of Public Works and the Saipan Mayor’s Office.

Interested volunteers are asked to meet at Kagman High School at 8:30am. There they will be assigned to a team leader who will direct their cleanup efforts.

CARE is partnering with United 4 Saipan for this cleanup event. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and closed-toe walking shoes. Water will be provided. For more information, go to www.cnmicare.com. (CARE)
