Basketball leagues meeting Friday

There is another meeting for both the Inter-Government/Business League and Island-wide Men’s Basketball League this Friday at 5pm at the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Agenda includes confirmation of teams, entree fees, registration forms, and opening dates. To date there are 11 teams in the Inter-Government/Business League and nine teams for the other league. Tentative opening dates are March 1 for Inter-Government/Business League and March 2 for the Island-wide Men’s Basketball League.

All leagues under MIBF will have all statistics recorded for end of league awards and yearend banquets. This statistics will assist our federation in future selection of athletes of the year and Hall of Fame nominees.
