MHS to hold orientations on Aug. 11 and 12
Marianas High School is excited for the coming school year and will be holding two orientations on Aug. 11 and 12 for specific groups of students.
The Aug. 11 orientation is strictly for new students, incoming 9th graders, and students transferring from other schools to MHS.
The Aug. 12 orientation is strictly for continuing 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. Both orientations will be held on school grounds and will begin promptly at 8:30am and last through 11:30am. Faculty, staff, and student leadership will be ready to assist attendees during for both orientation dates.
On behalf of the faculty and staff of MHS, we highly encourage all students to attend their designated orientation. The information that will be shared will ensure a success start to the school year 2016-2017. Among the most important topics are our school-wide goals and instructional initiatives as well as safety policies and procedures. Additionally, counselors will be distributing schedules and will also be available for advisement.
All students, both new and continuing, must complete a registration form. The registration process is ongoing. Please complete the new PSS form with all accompanying mandatory documents. For a registration form and document checklist, please visit the MHS Main Office. The MHS staff is available from 8am to 11am in the morning and 1pm to 4pm in the afternoon to assist you. The last day to register is Aug. 5.
